Jim Overly

Jim Overly is in his fifteenth year as an accompanist for the musical theater program at Point Park University in Pittsburgh. In his tenure at Point Park, he has also been the choir director for 5 years and an adjunct instructor. When he’s not tickling the ivories at Point Park, you can find him working with the praise band at St. David’s Episcopal Church; teaching private lessons in piano, voice, saxophone, clarinet, and music theory; or music directing and/or playing keys for local middle school, high school, university, and community musical theater productions. Jim earned both his bachelor’s in music education and master’s in saxophone performance at the University of Tulsa (OK).
